Aims and Scope

Journal of System Management(JSM)  provides a valuable outlet for research and scholarship on management-orientated themes and topics. It publishes manuscripts of empirical and/or the theoretical in management sciences. All empirical methods, including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods, are welcomed. To be published in JSM, a manuscript must make strong empirical and/or theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the management field. Therefore, preference is given to articles that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically investigating the issues with high importance for management theories and practices. This journal welcomes researchers to submit their original and unpublished full papers for intended publication through its double blind review process.

The major scope of the JSM includes:

  • Operation management in manufacturing
  • Business Strategy
  • Decision Analysis
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Energy saving and waste reduction in manufacturing processes
  • Information Systems
  • Manufacturing planning, optimization and simulation
  • Stochastic Models and Simulation
  • Manufacturing process monitoring and control
  • Operations research in the quality engineering and production optimization
  • Fuzzy theory and Fuzzy logic for Production optimization
  •  Scheduling in the Production  Optimization
  • Quality engineering tools and techniques
  • Supply Chain Network Design
  • Quantitative management
